Nothing brings people together like good food and a great summer drinks.

How summer is all about vacation time and the whole family get-together. I remember the good old days when the whole family and of course our cousin gang would go to our ancestral house. It used to be all about story sharing (mostly the gossips) and the amazing foods and amazing summer drinks served by our pretty ladies.

As a big foodie myself I always wondered how my mother cooked so many dishes in such a short span of time. I mean it was not an easy task to do for so many kids and adults around in the house with everyone of their own tantrums. Later I discovered how my mom had this recipe book which she maintained only for summer times. She says it helped her when her brain used to freeze after all the demands from us.

Out of all the things she made for us, my favorites was the summer drinks she used to make, of course the mocktails :-p Summer is a time where your mind mostly goes into drinking a lot of watery things as you avoid eating due to the scorching heat. This is when fruits come to the rescue because they have lot of flavors along with the rich water content and hence helps to avoid dehydration.

So here I am sharing few recipes shared by my mom. These recipes take the shortest time to get ready and are enriched with too many nutrients and flavors. Go ahead and make the one according to your taste buds craving.
