Indian cuisine is very diverse itself but what are some good non-Indian dishes that we should know. we all food lovers want to eat every time some new dishes right? so we are always looking for some new indian and non indian dishes for new taste.. so today lets discus some of non indian dishes which are really delicious.
hear I’ll try to point out some dishes which are suitable for a typical Indian’s masala taste-buds .
We can make an easy Aglio Olio with whatever ingredients you have – all you need is some butter, garlic and I use prawns which you could substitute. It doesn’t get simpler than this. It’s literally a 5 min meal. Aglio Olio is a traditional Italian pasta dish, coming from Napoli. It is traditionally served over long pasta such as spaghetti, vermicelli, angel hair, fettuccine or linguine.
This is a typical English dish . The best thing is that you can go as healthy or as indulgent as you like with the toppings . Almost everyone I know loves potatoes . We can rub whole potatoes with olive oil and salt and bake it till done. In the picture it is topped up with sour cream . But it goes very well with rajma , chole and even baked beans and cheese. My personal favorite is butter – lots of it . The satisfying crunch of peel , steaming hot , soft and fluffy potato flesh , aroma of melted butter – one bite and you are in heaven .
This is a Greek dish . Not only are all ingredients easily available in India , it is very easy to make . Spice it up and serve with roti. Layer humble eggplant , courgette and boiled whole masoor dal and top up with bottled pasta sauce and cheese . Bake until cheese is golden brown . Also goes well with rice or ‘pav ‘ .
Crunchy digestive biscuit base , alternating layers of caramel and banana and topping of whipped cream and grated chocolate . No image can do justice to the gorgeousness of this dish . The sight , the smell , the texture , the intermingling of flavours , the sensation of melting cream and chocolate on your tongue – heaven on a plate . Always close your eyes before you take the first bite to enjoy the treat for all the senses .
Since the Indian palate is becoming more brave to try out new things there are some non-indigenous dishes that an average Indian should know how to make.
